Holy shit, I had way too much fun with this. I wrote like a little essay for every question. xD I ramble so bad.

1. List all the anime that you're familiar with(meaning you've seen at least a bunch of the episodes and you know the story and characters fairly well)? Erm, there's a lot. ._.

2. Out of those, list your favorites(doesn't have to be in order.)?
Clannad (my all-time favorite), Ouran Host Club, Kodocha, Black Cat, Hunter X Hunter... to name a few.

3. What was the first anime you ever watched, when did you first watch it, and what was your first impression? Well, the very first was probably Pokemon, which I loved, but the first anime I watched where I was actually aware that it was anime was Yu Yu Hakusho. And I loved it.

4. List some of the manga you're familiar with? Chrono Crusade (my all-time favorite), We Were There (aka Bokura Ga Ita), Kodocha, Asklepios, Nightmare Inspector.

5. What type of anime usually interests you? I pretty much will try anything if it's recommended to me. I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to anime and manga.

6. What type of anime least interests you? I usually am pretty indifferent towards the typical "I'm in highschool and I'm in love with a guy" shit, unless there's a unique twist involved.

7. What, in your opinion, do you think is the most important factor in an anime? (popularity, animation quality, characters, story, having everything revolve around a cool game/toys/robots, etc.)? I honestly will not watch an anime if I don't like the artwork. It's a huge factor for what I watch. Also, the characters and storyline are important.

8. Which do you generally like better, anime or manga? Manga. I haven't watched much anime recently.

9. Which do you usually prefer, dub or sub? I don't really have a preference, actually. If it's dubbed, I'll watch it. If it's not or if the dub is bad, I'll watch it subbed. I like it either way.

10. List some of your favorite Japanese voice actors and some characters that they play. (Japanese character names too)? I don't really know many Japanese voice actors. Like I said, I read waaaaaay more manga than I watch anime, and I usually watch it dubbed. It be easier on mah eyes. All I know is that I adore the entire cast of Clannad. So good.

11. List some of your favorite English dub voice actors and some characters that they play. (I use the dub names too)?
Greg Ayres (Chrono, Tsuyoshi, Kaoru)
Todd Haberkorn (Allen, Hikaru)
Vic Mignogna (Ed, Tamaki, Arashiyama)
And others that I don't feel like naming.

12. Which anime do you think has the worst English dub? And the best?
I HATE the English dub of Gravitation. HATE IT.
And also, it's not that I think it's bad, but the English dub of Chrono Crusade is just hilarious. Like, I've only watched 6 or 7 episodes in English so far, and I find myself crying with laughter everytime Chrono opens his mouth. He just says the dumbest expressions and exclaimations, like "Oh, applesauce." and shit like that. But today was THE funniest one yet. So, I watched the entire series in Japanese like 2 or 3 years ago and I just decided yesterday to watch it in English (Because, quite frankly, it's my favorite voice actor playing my favorite character, so I figured that could only mean good things. =]). So, I was watching episode 6, I think, a few hours ago and there's this one part where this little boy accidentally kicks a ball and it hits Rosette in the face. When it hits her, Azmaria goes "Goodness gracious!" and Chrono goes "Great ball of fire!" I was like "WHAT THE HELL, WAS THE DUBBING COMMITEE ON CRACK WHEN THEY DECIDED THAT SOUNDED OKAY THERE?" It was sooo funny.
But, uhm, rants aside, the best would have to be Ouran Host Club.

13. List some anime that you don't like? That's a hard one. I don't care for Naruto or Bleach very much, that's pretty much it.

14. Have you ever tried to get a someone interested in anime, even though that person knew nothing about anime? A few people, yeah.

15. Did it work? Two of my friends really got into it for like a year, maybe a little more, and then randomly decided that they didn't like it anymore. o_O Then my other friends sort of dabbles in it, but she prefers manga.

16. List some of your most favorite anime/manga characters and the anime/manga they're from? Chrono from Chrono Crusade is my favorite character ever. Tomoya Okazaki from Clannad is close second, and then a few others (who don't really have any particular order) are Hikaru Hitachiin from Ouran, Rosette Christopher from Chrono Crusade, Yano Motoharu from We Were There, Nagisa Furukawa from Clannad, Tamaki Suo from Ouran, Leo from Beast Master, Fuko from Clannad, Buzz from Asklepios, and also, don't ask me why because it's really weird and random, but there's this manga called Amatsuki, which I don't like that much, but it has this little bonus story in it, called Butterfly's Dream, that's only 5 chapters long, but it's sooo good. I absolutely fell in LOVE with the two main characters, Ginshu and Byakuroku. The story reminds me of that movie The Boy in The Striped Pajamas a little bit, as weird as that may sound. It's like a human girl and a demon boy who become friends but the demon can't cross onto the shrine that the girl lives on so they talk to each other from either side of the barrier. It's way way way more complex then that, but that's the really basic gist of it.

17. List some of your hated anime characters and which anime they're from (both human and non-human)? Two words: FATHER. DOUCHINGTON. AKA Father Remington from Chrono Crusade. Honestly, the reason I hate him is the dumbest reason ever, but it's among other things. From the begining of the manga (I read it before I saw the anime and it was waaay better) I just had this irrationally feeling of dislike towards him. Not hatred, dislike. And towards the end when he was "fighting" Chrono, when I thought it was real, I was like "THIS is why I had that feeling." and then you found out it wasn't and I was like "...Oh." but then HE CUT OFF ALL OF CHRONO'S HAIR. I was like "OH, YOU FUCKING BASTARD, YOU DID NOT JUST DO THAT." I was really mad. So, basically that was the reason that I have been using for my irrational hatred towards Father Douchington.

I also HATE the twins from Clannad, Kyou and Ryou. UGH. I hate
them so much. I think my reasoning is that I am so emotionally attached to that anime, and I absolutely love Tomoya and Nagisa being together, so I pretty much hated anyone that tried to come between that, even a little bit. I didn't like Tomoyo either because of that ONE episode, which wasn't even a real episode, it was an extra one, where he dated her. xD

Also, the girl from Ouran Host Club who was supposed to marry Tamaki, I can not remember her name for the life of me, but I REALLY hated her until the very, very end when she let him go. Even then, I didn't like her, but not as intensely. She was such a bitch.

18. List some of your favorite "non-human"(animal-like) anime characters and the anime they're from? BEELZENEF, THE CURSE DOLL from Ouran, the junk doll from Clannad, and Beck... from Beck. xD

19. List some of your favorite anime video games? I don't play a lot of video games ._.

20. List some of your favorite anime songs and the anime they're from? Dango Daikazoku from Clannad, Sayonara Solitaire from Chrono Crusade, Ready Steady Go from Fullmetal Alchemist, Sakura Kiss from Ouran, Tell Me What The Rain Knows from Wolf's Rain, and the list could go on, but I'll spare you. xD

21. List some of your favorite anime couples and which anime they're from? TOMOYA AND NAGISA FROM CLANNAD.<333
Also, Yano and Nana-chan from We Were There, Shuichi and Eiri from Gravitation, Akio and Sanae (Nagisa's parents) from Clannad, Akito and Sana from Kodocha, and more.

22. What medium do you usually use to watch anime?(buy DVDs, download fansubs, watch anime on TV, borrow anime from friends, etc.)? I usually watch it online. I hardly ever buy anime, just manga. I just recently bought the entire series of Clannad, but I think before that the last thing I bought was the Inuyasha first season boxset like 3 years ago. xD

23. What is your favorite anime quote and who says it? YES. I LOVE QUOTES SO MUCH, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. Haha.
I loved in Clannad when Ushio would keep telling Tomoya that she was going to the bathroom and then he found out she had been crying and she said that Sanae told her not to cry in front of people and to go into the bathroom to cry, and then when Tomoya is apologizing to Ushio for not being a good father to her and she says "Daddy, is it okay to not hold it in anymore? Sanea-san told me places where I can cry are in the bathroom and in daddy's arms." and they hug and she starts to cry. I sobbed like a baby at that part. xD

Also, I have two manga quotes, but whatever.
First is in We Were There, when Yano tells Nana how he had sex with his ex girlfriend in the school gym and she gets upset and he says "I would change my past if I could. I would change it anyway I could to stop you from crying. But that's not possible is it? I can't change my past. So let's make a present that's better than my past." :]

Second, there a quote from Chrono Crusade that I love, but I can't remember it, plus it's really long, so here's one of my other favorite quotes from Chrono Crusade... When Chrono is going to fight Aion in Pandemonium and Rosette is worried that he won't come back and he says "Wasn't it you who said 'The place Chrono can go back to was already decided four years ago.'? And that pkace is wherever you are, so I'll definately be back."

WAIT ONE MORE. In Nightmare Inspector, at the very end when Azusa is being all reflective and shit, talking about Hiruko/Chitose's past and he says "Chitose, for whom life was supposed to end without a single happiness, was given so many."

Okay, now I'm seriously done.

24. List some of your favorite anime movies?
Anything from Hayao Miyazaki. Princess Mononoke is my favorite, and Spirited Away is good too.

25. What is your most favorite anime of all, and why is it your favorite? Clannad is my absolute favorite anime. It just struck such an emotional chord with me. It was so sad and yet so inspirational at the same time.

26. Who is MOST likely your favorite character from that anime, and why? Tomoya is my favorite, because I really relate to him in some ways, and he has really admirable qualities. It's like, he seems like such an asshole in the begining, but as you get to know him, you find out a lot about him that you can't see on the surface.

27. Which episode is your favorite?
That's hard. D: I liked episode 6, the one that is like the story of how Misae got her cat, and the other episode I can't remember the name of but it was the one that I was talking about in the quotes question.

28. Why is that particular episode your favorite?
Well, I liked episode six because it gives you a lot of background on this random minor character that you don't know anything about. And it was also just a really emotional episode. It was really unexpected and adorable. Especially at the end. :'[ I cried so much.

I like the other episode for just about the same reasons. It was really emotional and unexpected. I just love sad things, like movies and book and anime and such. I don't know what it is, I just do.

29. How did you first discover this anime?
Haha. Uhm. I was on a forum one day on a thread called "Saddest Anime You've Ever Seen" or something like that and a bunch of people said Clannad, and I kept saying I wanted to watch it but didn't until like a month later.

30. When did you first watch it?
Like I said, about a month after I heard about it.
It's kind of a funny story. I was sick and home from school and I was like "I'm just gonna watch anime all day." so as I was trying to decide what anime to watch, Clannad popped into my head, so I put it on and watched the entire 44 episode series within the 4 or 5 days I was sick. xD

31. What was your first impression?
I absolutely loved it, from the first episode.

32. Do you watch this anime in its dubbed or subbed version? Or both?
Subbed. It hasn't been dubbed yet, but it's licensed, so I would like to see how they do with that.

33. Which anime haven't you watched but would like to?
A lot. Rumbling Hearts is the main one. I want to see it so bad! D:

Pretty bored. Finished a manga series that I just started like... two weeks ago. Twas good, the end was depressing. But the downside is I have no way to occupy my time now. xD


OH YEAH. I'm going to see The Used on the 28th. =]

First day of school was today. It's was pretty dull. But then, I don't enjoy school much in general, so that's probably why.

Uhm, moving on...
I finished Ouran High School Host Club today. The anime. I'm starting to work on the manga now, because it was amazing. :3
My friend forced me to watch it and I've been hooked for the past couple days.

Other then that, today was uneventful.
Football game on friday, competition on saturday.

Band camp has started. Today was the first day, and I'm already sore. xD
JB stepped on a mosquito and blood splattered all over the floor. It was grusome. I don't know how to spell that... har.

I just finished re-reading the Chrono Crusade series (for like the third time). I was sobbing my eyes out at the end. :'< Sosad.

But yeah, I'm just really bored so there's no significance to this entry at all. =]
